The Black List on NBC

Recently my two favorite shows, Dexter and Breaking Bad, ended and I needed some new show to fill in. My wife and I decided to give The Black List on NBC a try. We set our DVR to record the series and we haven’t regretted it.

“Former government agent Raymond “Red” Reddington (James Spader) has eluded capture for decades. But he suddenly surrenders to the FBI with an offer to help catch a terrorist under the condition that he speaks only to Elizabeth “Liz” Keen (Megan Boone), a young FBI pro-filer who’s just barely out of Quantico.” Written by NBC

Each episode solves a crime but each episode ends with a clue to the bigger picture of why Raymond Reddington will only speak to Elizabeth Keen and what life questions can Reddington help Keen answer. I think the show not only has good weekly stories, but when the show ends I definitely want to watch the next episode. What makes Keen’s life so interesting?

Free episodes are available on HULU and I would definitely recommend you give it a try. If you are like me and just lost two of your favorite shows, give The Black List a try. You won’t be disappointed.
