It’s Your Kid, Be the Parent or STOP HAVING CHILDREN

As I get older and have more life experience I learn many things. An observation I have noticed for quite some time now is the adults who don’t parent their children and some of these adults just keep having more children and don’t parent them either.

As a parent of 3 it is unbelievable, well actually I guess not unbelievable with the way the world is now a days, that people will have children, not be involved in their lives, maybe physically or sexually abuse their children, be happy to let the system take care of their children and then possibly bring more children into the world. Then these children also get to be taken care of by someone else, the system, or just plain neglected.

If you don’t want the responsibility of being a parent it’s pretty simple. DON’T HAVE CHILDREN!!!!! It’s not a dog or cat we are talking about, it’s a human life that needs an adult to take care of them. The government shouldn’t be taking care of your child. It should be you! How can one just bring a child into this world and then just want nothing to do with it?

People let’s show some responsibility and parent your children, take care of your children, teach your children, love your children, or DON’T HAVE CHILDREN! Please, if you can’t parent and some people can’t, DON’T bring children into this world. It’s that simple! Stop being happy to let your child be raised by someone else because you don’t want to. It’s unacceptable. Be a parent or don’t have children.

  1. It is sad when this happens in today society, I’ve seen this first hand in our family and sincerly wish i could take these babies in but we hardly make ends meet as it is. Sad all the way around in our life

  2. Wow… the DNT endorses your rants??
I can only imagine how many shotty parents have turned from the errors of their ways because of your great insight…

Be thankful the government keeps children from hunger and ailment if their parents cannot provide. Perhaps by offering some concrete advice, struggling parents will have some guidance to follow. Since you’re the great dad of 3, right?

  3. I would like to thank you for saying what many of us have been thinking, Eddie. You hit multiple nails on the head and did it in a manner that still was polite.

The bottom line, if all you are going to do is to continue to put a strain and drain on society, stop having kids.

  4. This is a very serious and long over-due subject matter that ought to be confronted more readily in today’s society. unfortunately. Very well stated fact and I couldn’t agree more, as my observation comes first hand in my community as a concerned mother, public health professional, child protection advocate, and devoted Christian.

  5. I would have to agree with you, Eddie. I work at a store where the parents come in with their children and just let them run everywhere. There is no guidance or supervision. Then there are those that do nothing but scream at their children the whole time they are there. It makes me just want to shake some sence into those parents. Way too easy to get government help, that is why they keep having them.
