This past week the Minnesota Vikings were able to win and the Green Bay Packers lost. So, as any good rivalry smack talk begins. Vikings fans obviously rub it in and it of course is well deserved. However, what I don’t understand about Packer fans is the comeback that pretty much happens about 99.9% of the time is, “How many Superbowl do you have?” Packer fans just never direct their comebacks to present day. The reason I bring this up is because when Vikings fans rip another team say, the Chicago Bears, I don’t ever hear, “Well we won the Superbowl in 1985.” Get my point?
Another good comeback I hear from Packer fans when they are ripped by others is, “How many wins did the Vikings have last year?” Yes Packers had 15 wins last year. Good job. How many playoff wins did the Packers have last year? Oh wait, zero. Yes the Vikings also had zero play off wins. So does that really matter?
Then I hear, “yea well at least we went to the playoffs.” Right but you can’t tell me as a Packer fan you would want to make the playoffs, have the number 1 overall seed through out the playoffs, and then dream of having a team come into your “sacred” Lambeau field and have them whoop you after a bye week. NO of course not.
So here is my message to Packer fans. Vikings fans don’t care about how many Superbowl Championships the Packers have, and Vikings fans don’t care about your 15 wins last year. When Vikings fans rip you Packer fans just try and stay in the present and please, please stop talking about all your Superbowl wins. Maybe try and come up with some good comebacks for this season. We still have a lot more season to go and right now Packers are 0-1 and Vikings are 1-0. SKOL VIKINGS!!!!
